Where Online Event London, ON, Canada

Join us for an online town hall with local MPs to have a discussion on the environment and drive meaningful policy change.

The Town Halls are part of GreenPAC's series of 100 town halls through their Everyday Advocates program occurring across Canada with MP's in local areas. The purpose of these events is to hold elected officials accountable for commitments they or their party have made to their constituents and to hear what meaningful action has been taken on climate change and environmental issues.

Sign up through Eventbrite to join the conversation! The Environmental Town Hall will be hosted through Zoom Webinar. The link to join will be included in your confirmation email after registration and just before the event.

The Town Hall will feature four local Members of Parliament (MP):

  • Kate Young, MP London West
  • Karen Vecchio, MP Elgin Middlesex
  • Peter Fragiskatos, MP London North
  • Lindsay Mathyssen, MP London Fanshawe

This event will follow the format of four prepared questions (determined by members of the London Environmental Network) directed to MP's. The remaining time will be allotted for audience questions. Participants can submit their questions to MP's upon registration and/or in the Zoom Q&A - so get your environmental questions ready!

This event is co-hosted by the London Environmental Network, Middlesex London Food Policy Council, Thames Region Ecological Association (TREA), Climate Action London, Friends of Kilally Meadows ESA, and Growing Chefs! Ontario. Thanks to our member organizations for their contributions to the environmental town halls!
