What is a Spiritual Nature Hike?

Immerse yourself in nature with Leigh Shand an Experienced Teacher, Aspiring Naturalist, Yoga, Mindfulness and Holistic Healing Practitioner. 

Throughout the two-hour program, Leigh blends all her holistic modalities and naturalist teachings to create a unique and rich nature hiking experience. You will have the opportunity to walk, stretch, journal, experience a drum healing, Indigenous teachings, tree meditation, seasonal rituals, learn the local flora and fauna, tree and wildlife identification and much more. You’re sure to leave feeling calmly uplifted, inspired and connected.

This event is for individuals 16 and older.

Accessibility Note:

The Westminster Ponds ESA has rolling hills and uneven ground. There are no paved areas within the ESA. It is not recommended for individuals with significant mobility limitations.

Leigh has over a decade of experience as a teacher of yoga, mindfulness and holistic healing. She owns and operates her own business where she works outdoors as much as possible, teaching yoga, leading wellness consultations, spiritual hiking and retreats for adults, children and corporate clients.

A life-long learner, and aspiring naturalist, Leigh is currently enrolled in Fanshawe College’s Adventure Expeditions and Interpretive Leadership Program where she is thriving with all she is learning, both in and outside the classroom. Leigh’s vision is to combine her passions – holistic healing and nature – to create a unique offering.
