London Plan
The London Plan is the City's playbook for city building, growth and conservation to the year 2035. It promotes quality growth that looks inward and upward, rather than sprawling outward. It seeks to promote great neighbourhoods, support attractive transportation options, protect built heritage and the natural environment, revitalize urban neighbourhoods, business areas and the Downtown, facilitate affordable housing, protect farmlands, reduce energy consumption, mitigate climate change and promote urban food systems.
Through ReThink London, the Plan was build from ongoing participation by over 10,000 Londoners who shared their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future.
