With a focus on highlighting the advantages of green modifications, and the benefits of retrofit projects such as significantly reducing energy consumption and in turn, lowering utility costs. We also provide up-to-date information & consultation on available rebates, loans, and incentive programs that provide financial assistance for implementing green modifications, our ultimate goal is to create more sustainable homes to create a more sustainable London for all to enjoy.

The London Environmental Network (LEN) 2023 Green Retrofit Rebate Program is now closed. Please follow us on social media, or sign up for our e-newsletter below to be notified if and when this program will return in 2024. 

The London Environmental Network’s Greener Homes London program works to inspire and empower homeowners to reduce the impact of their homes through increased energy efficiency and carbon reductions while supporting homeowners to achieve financial incentives as a result of these home improvements. As we all work to reduce our emissions to meet the 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan targets of 40% below 2005 levels by 2030, the London Environmental Network is thrilled to offer Londoners another way to participate in emissions reductions, and achieve energy efficiency, by offering financial incentives for these retrofits. Our goal is to reduce the burden of implementation experienced by homeowners across the city through the London Green Retrofit Rebate Program.

EnerGuide Audits or Home Energy Assessments:

The London Environmental Network offers EnerGuide Audits- also known as home energy assessments. These assessments are required to access:

• The Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) Canada Greener Homes Grant (CGHG) of up to $5000*now facilitated through the Enbridge HER+ program
• The Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate+ including the CGHG of up to $5000 with Enbridge Bonus Rebates of up to $5000 *for qualifying participants up to $10,000 in rebates for eligible retrofits + a $600 grant towards the cost of the home energy assessments
• The NRCan interest-free loans from $5000- $40,000 with a ten-year payback period for qualifying green home retrofits

• New windows & doors
• Upgraded insulation (attic, walls, basement, exterior, etc.) 
• Upgraded home heating & cooling  
• Home air-sealing (draft-proofing) 
• Basement, attic, or crawlspace waterproofing

Residential Attic Insulation & Air Sealing Program:

Program applications for the 2023 attic insulation and air sealing program have now closed. Please check in regularly, follow us on social media or sign up for our e-newsletter to stay up to date on if and when this program will be returning in 2024. 

Accepted participants get attic air sealing, venting, remediation & new insulation installed to today's building standards for no cost. This program is run through the London Environmental Network in coordination with Net Zero Insulation and The City of London. Interested applicants should read the program guide ahead of applying for the program.
