Climate Matters
Small choices can have a big collective impact! Not only do we all produce carbon in our everyday activities, but individuals are consumers and decision makers who shape our economy, its systems and its rules. You have the power to shift the needle on climate.
Ottawa Matters
Homes in Ottawa contribute over 22% of the City’s GHG emissions, mostly through heating and cooling. To meet Ottawa’s GHG reduction target, it is estimated that we need to retrofit 98% of our homes by 2040. That means you! From insulation, to heating systems to renewables, there are all kinds of ways you can reduce the climate impact of your home – and incentives to help you get there.
