Celebrate National Forest Week at London Forest Fest! 

Gather your family and friends for a day of creativity, discovery and all things trees at London Forest Fest on Saturday, September 26, from 10 am to 2 pm at Westminster Ponds!

This free community event has something for everyone:

– 10-10:30 am: Start the day with an Indigenous opening ceremony, led by Anishinaabe Elder Mary Lou Smoke

– 10:30 am and 12:30 pm: Get up close with birds of prey during shows by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy

– 11 am: Discover the interactive, giant Biinaagami Map

– 11:30-12:30 pm: Enjoy a hike to visit London’s first designated Heritage Tree

– 1-1:45 pm: Explore the forest on a Tree Hike with Brenda Gallagher, UTRCA

– All day: Watch a chainsaw carving demonstration by Mike Wood Solutions, and join games and activities with local organizations working to protect, plant and celebrate trees throughout the Forest City
