With climate change affecting livelihoods around the world, it has never been more important to shift our consumption patterns to reduce our carbon emissions. Many people have adopted the “think global, act local” strategy to make choices that support local economic development, social well-being, and the health of the planet instead of economic practices that are extractive for the planet and its people.
