The series aims to explore sustainability topics through a local lens by highlighting leaders in various sectors, including grassroots groups, institutions, nonprofits, government, and businesses. Learn about these local examples and how to get involved to make London one of the greenest, most resilient cities in Canada!

Theme: Flooding and Climate Change

The next Green in the City event is happening at Bostwick Library Branch at StarTech.com Community Centre. Join us for displays and conversations about flooding around your home, in your basement, and along creeks and rivers.

London's future climate will change our waterways and the severity of storms. VIsit this free event to discuss how best to safeguard your home and belongings from water. Learn about the causes of basement and surface flooding and what actions you can take to avoid damage.

Adapting to changing climate conditions is an important part of London's Climate Emergency Action Plan and supports sustainability. Staff from the City of London, London Environmental Network, Council of Canadians, and others will be in attendance to help answer questions.
