We warmly invite you to a screening of Eating Our Way to Extinction, a film featuring leading scientists, physicians, and academics that explores how our global food system contributes to some of the major issues of our day: climate breakdown, environmental racism, and food access inequality. This film is not available in Canadian theatres, but Reimagine has secured exclusive rights to show the film! We're excited to invite you all to this free screening of the film with community members from local climate and social justice groups. There will also be a chance to win door prizes generously contributed by local vegan businesses. Thus far they have received certificates and T-shirts from the following: Plant Matter Kitchen/Cafe (3), Zen Gardens (2), Curley's Brewing Company, The Hearty Herbivore (2), Odd Burger, Vaka Chocolate, Cinnaholic London, New Leaf Planet Based Food Truck (2), and Plant Power Solutions (2).
Sit on a chair or snuggle up on a rug right in front of the 10-foot screen at The Reimagine Space, the brand new community space situated behind Reimagine Co's package-free grocery store in downtown London. There is free parking available, bike parking in front of the store, and it's on 9 bus routes. We do ask that you wear a mask if you are able to do so and to not wear/bring any scents into the space.
We encourage you to bring a friend who might not normally watch a film like this, so that we can grow the movement for climate and food justice.
