USC Public Arts Commission, USC EnviroWestern, and USC Charity are extremely excited to bring to you: sustain.ability.

Look through sustain.ability, a virtual publication/look-book focused on understanding and representing sustainable endeavours. It will be filled with guides on how to sustainability shop, tips to repurpose clothing and other materials, and how to take steps towards living a sustainable life. It will feature guides to sustainable living, workshop events, art displays, huge giveaways and lots more! One of the main features of this interactive publication is an art gallery with submissions from Western's very own students!

Additionally, please make sure to check out the charity that this event supports- the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER), whose mission is to work to support and build sustainable Indigenous communities and protect lands and waters. Their current projects include providing technical support to the Garden Hill First Nations to help them remove hazardous waste, and working with the Anishinaabeg of Kabapikotawangag Resource Council to strengthen their climate monitoring systems. This organization thus plays a critical role by emphasizing First Nations peoples as leaders for positive environmental change.
