Join us to share your ideas and energy in building a more resilient and just community in London post-COVID.

In the Collaborative Calls to Action: Advocacy Workshop, we will be sharing ideas on what a better city looks like for all, and then breaking into groups to discuss activities and tactics that you can do right away to help create this vision.

This is a follow up event from the Green & Just Recovery Town Hall (see video here) and will carry on the conversation with citizens and help organize actions to follow up from the Town Hall.

We will be asking you what you want to advocate for in the transition to a better city. Come with your ideas, priorities and be ready to take action. Please review the Just Recovery for All principles to help give you an idea of what is possible for a new society. We will be using a tool called Mentimeter to find out in real time what the community wants to prioritize.

Activities developed in the session will include:

  • Templates for emails to politicians
  • Toolkit on local advocacy actions
  • Discussions on setting local priorities and actions

We are looking forward to this lively discussion about cultivating real change for a green and just future for all communities in London.

Please RSVP for this online workshop through Eventbrite. The Zoom link will be sent to you via email before the workshop.
