Mission
Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) Canada is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization with a twin focus: to create the political will for a liveable planet and to empower people to claim their political and personal power.
Organizational Goals & Objectives
Since September 2010, CCL Canada volunteers have built thousands of connections with their Members of Parliament through letters, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings. We have demonstrated how passionate citizens, when well-trained, organized by riding, and supported by a strong network, can truly shape the political process. Undaunted by disinformation, fossil-fuel-driven inflation, and trade tensions, we continue to advance policies that redirect money away from fossil fuels and toward building a liveable planet for all. CCL London is a local chapter of CCL Canada, so our focus is on building political will for effective and evidence-based climate policies by building relationships with our elected leaders here in London.
