Mission

To inspire environmental science literacy through accessible education.

Organizational Objectives

Bluebird Environmental's main goal is to provide accessible environmental science education and resources to all ages in hopes of fostering an improved understanding of the environment and opportunities to get involved through education, restoration projects, and/or volunteering. This is achieved through three primary lenses:

1. Programming

    a. LEGO® Build the Change Courses (grades 2 to 6)

    b. Outdoor Workshops (grades 4 to 12)

    c. Ontario Curriculum Courses (grades 1 to 12)

2. Publications

    a. Eco Allies: a quarterly activity book for children filled with engaging educational material about the environment, themed for the season.

    b. The Bluebird Bugle: a monthly newsletter recapping the most interesting educational content from the previous month, as well as upcoming events in our community.

3. Free Resources

    a. The Ultimate Education Guide: This guide provides useful information to help you on your journey as an environmental professional.

    b. The Ultimate Landowner Guide: This guide provides useful information to help you accomplish your goals when undertaking an environmental project on your property.

    c. Downloads: All free resources (field guides, manuals, factsheets, etc.) are made available as they are discovered
