Accelerating To Zero - Building Solutions for a Low Carbon Economy

The aim of Accelerating to Zero events is to educate, inform and inspire leaders in the green building industry and help them leverage new opportunities presented by a low carbon economy. Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) is organizing two events in November with subject matter experts ready to share their experience with the Zero Carbon Building Standard (ZCB) certification process.

Lessons from a successful collaboration to achieve Zero Carbon Building-Performance Certification at Scotia Plaza's 40 King St. W.

This session will bring together Kit Milnes (KingSett) and Doug Webber (Purpose Building) as they share lessons learned from their collaboration on the Zero Carbon Building-Performance Certification process for the 68-storey 40 King Street W. at Scotia Plaza in downtown Toronto. They will share an insightful perspective of the certification process, lessons, and notions critical to achieving zero carbon, and projections for a real estate market punctuated by a zero-carbon movement.
