Americans, Canadians, Everyone please join us for this exciting cross-border alliance!

This free workshop incorporates informal presentations and conversation with our panel of experts that will teach you what every US taxpayer NEEDS TO KNOW about the Canadian Tax on property transfers (including estates) and how conservation can help “save some green”. Featuring speakers John Blanken, CPA, CA Principal, Grant Thornton LLP, Cross-Border Taxation Expert and Sandra Tassel, Program Coordinator, American Friends of Canadian Land Trusts.

A delicious continental breakfast (Tasty Sweets Cafe & Bakery) will be served with ample time for questions and socializing. If you are interested in a one-on-one consultation with John or Sandra please make your request when you RSVP.

Then complete your morning with a guided tour of this charming property that highlights a cross-border history or just relax and explore the adjacent wetlands and many treasures of this spectacular Provincial Park.

Hosted by American Friends of Canadian Land Trusts, Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA), Lower Thames Conservation Authority, and Thames Talbot Land Trust.
