1st Annual Forest City Slow Roll
London Cycle Link invites you to join us on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 for a slow-moving and celebratory bike parade, created for and by people who cycle right here in London, Ontario.
Come alone, bring a friend, get the kids, or create a whole team to celebrate World Bicycle Day and kick off Bike Month the right way: by pedalling through the streets of our beloved city.
Registration for the Forest City Slow Roll is free!
Our start/finish is at Dundas Place (between Ridout and Talbot, on the north side of Budweiser Gardens). Check-in opens at 4:15. Get your wristband at our info tent, grab a snack and get ready to ride out with us at 5 o'clock sharp.
The route is a 9 km loop which we will ride en masse with a London Police Service escort. The (tentative) map of the route is here.
Back at Dundas Place, we will have our choice of an array of fabulous food, both sweet and savoury. Here are the Forest City Slow Roll food truck and trike vendors:
- Brannigan’s Fish & Chips
- Koshri Express
- North of the Border Tacos
- Leen's Express
- Haven's Creamery
- Filter Café
There will be a water bottle refill station for everyone to use. We'll also have two photographers, play some groovy tunes and announce our raffle draw prize winners!
Registration includes:
- the ride, with police escort
- a raffle ticket (extra ticket for teams with themes)
- use of the water bottle refill station
- use of the Dundas Place flex street
Although it's free, all participants must be registered to ride.
