Calling all environmentally friendly beach bums! Zero Waste Forest City has teamed up with our friends at Bend Bus for a beach clean and zero waste picnic:

Beautiful Lake Huron is just a short trip away from the Forest City. We've reserved 25 tickets for the good folks at Zero Waste Forest City for a beach clean on the shores of Grand Bend. Let's ensure the Great Lakes stay great! Never participated in a beach clean before? No problem! We will provide all the supplies, including garbage bags and gloves. 

We will spend the first 1-2 hours cleaning (depending on how much trash is on the beach), followed by a zero waste picnic, so pack something tasty and package free. We will take this time to casually debrief about what we found during the clean, as well as do an inventory of the trash collected. All of the trash from the clean will be donated to the Art Hive at Reimagine Co. to be up-cycled into an educational art piece!

The rest of the time is yours to enjoy the freshly cleaned beach and beautiful sunset. We'll take Bend Bus London to the beach and back.
