Project Description:
Community Minded, a volunteer network based in London, Ontario that advocates community-based approaches to improve well-being, aims to produce a visual storytelling campaign to help raise awareness of the wellness benefits of environmental stewardship and how the community can get involved.
A #plantingkindness social media campaign will be held in the Spring, with the aim to encourage people to volunteer for environmental organizations. A tree planting ceremony will be held in late summer at Westminster Ponds Centre for people experiencing poor mental health, with a screening of the storytelling campaign and posts from the #plantingkindness initiative.
