Do you have a budding artist in your life? The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is on the search for new artwork for their Step Into Nature booklet which is received by thousands of kids who visit their conservation areas each year. It includes fun nature facts, games, activity pages, and more, but it’s missing the creative touch of young artists.

That’s where you come in – between Feb. 11th and 28th, submit a drawing of local wildlife that you might see flying, swimming, crawling, or strolling through Fanshawe, Wildwood, or Pittock Conservation Area. The selected artwork will be printed in the booklet for all to admire!

Ready? Grab your pencil, paints, or markers and let your imagination run wild! When your art is ready, submit it on their website here.

Guidelines:

  • Ensure your artwork includes imagery of local wildlife.
  • The contest is open to children age 13 and younger.
