Project Description:
The PATCH successfully developed a net zero delivery and compost pick up plan for their three sites: Cavendish Community Food Hub, Hutton House Innovation Centre and Nathan's Urban Farm. They were able to purchase a bicycle from London Bicycle Cafe to be used to pick up and deliver vegetables they grow to Indwell, Ark Aid, Sanctuary London as well pick up compost from these partners and deliver to The Wormery for compost.
It is their goal to discontinue the use of their Dodge Grand Caravan (shared with other programs at Hutton House) and increase green transportation use by 1000km a year as well as divert a minimum of 700-1000 pounds from garbage to compost!
