Strengthening Community Food Security in London, Ontario
The main objective of LFC is to divert healthy nutritious foods from landfills and redirect it to London organizations, ultimately reducing their food costs. Outcomes include:
- More children, youth and families engaging in regular healthy eating habits
- Increasing opportunities for sustainable food solutions in London, Ontario
- Creating of a more supportive environment that leads to increase healthy eating levels in children, youth, and families
- Community collaboration and coordination increasing in London, Ontario particularly around health and food prosperity
