Online Event London, ON, Canada
Join us for an opportunity learn and share ideas about how we can use this time to build back better from COVID-19 in ways that create a more just, inclusive, and sustainable society. What could a green and just recovery look like, and how can we ensure everyone is a part of it?
Registration is free. Click here to RSVP via Eventbrite (you will be sent a Zoom link to join the event).
The event will open with presentations from guest speakers:
- Joel Abram - Grand Chief, Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians
- Genevieve Langille - Youth Activist
- Malvin Wright - Lead Consultant WOW Consulting Group, Community Development Practitioner, Board of Directors, Pillar Nonprofit Network & Black London Network
They will be joined by panelists: London MP Peter Fragiskatos, MPP Peggy Sattler and Deputy Mayor Jesse Helmer, who will answer questions from the community about what a green and just recovery could look like in London and area. Time will be allocated for questions from the audience as well.
