Learn and grow in nature through play and exploration!
Every trip to Fanshawe Nature School will be its own adventure! Each visit will start with a grounding in the surroundings and a reminder of nature awareness routines and best practices for spending time outside. There will be planned options for activities but what actually happens will be child-directed and depend on the day. This may include songs, stories, play, exploration, journaling, sit spots, shelter building, hiking, using tools and more! At the end of each visit, we will gather again to share reflections and plan for the next outing.
Please note: If we are unable to run Fanshawe Nature School due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will cancel the session and refund program fees (minus a non-refundable administrative fee charged by Eventbrite). If the program is cancelled mid-session, refunds will be issued on a pro-rated basis.

Owls & Owlets
- This is a 1.5 hour program designed for participants ages 24 months to 5 years with adult accompaniment.
