The Peel Environmental Youth Alliance welcomes guest speaker Melina Damian, an Environmental Educator and Scientist, currently working at Ontario Nature as the Communications Coordinator and teaching at Centennial College on Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development. Melina will examine the impact that plastic pollution and other anthropogenic debris have on native species in Ontario. The presentation will also cover several solutions that could be implemented to mitigate the issue.
