A Fundraiser in the Heart of Old East Village by Building Better and Life of Leisure

The Cause: Chippewas Sustainable Living Project
Building Better, a local non-profit organization, is building a sustainable living site in partnership with our neighbouring Chippewas of The Thames First Nations' Chief Myeengun Henry to educate, and empower the community to lead the way in sustainable living technologies, including clean renewable solar energy, rainwater harvesting systems for better access to clean water, and local food production and composting systems. We will develop a social enterprise in eco-tourism to support sustainable affordable housing in the community moving forward. For more info on the project check out the links below.
