On June 11th, 2025 the London Environmental Network (LEN) hosted its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at London Bicycle Café.
We lucked out with beautiful weather and the best company to celebrate another year of impactful sustainability programming. Thank you to all of our attendees, which included our Board of Directors, staff, committee members, and LEN members, for joining us!
AGM Highlights
In addition to the business voting portion of the meeting, our staff team shared highlights from our 2024 Impact Report. Some of our successes from this past year are...
Building capacity to reduce environmental impacts:
- Invested $219,865 in sustainability projects with our network members, Green Economy Leaders, and community - from solar panels to e-bikes to pollinator gardens, and more
- Planted 460 native plants through our Thriving Communities program, including 300 trees for our first mini-forest project
- Completed a major retrofit project at a Community Living London multi-unit residential building, reducing the building's emissions by 33%
- Provided sustainability reports and GHG inventories for 20 Green Economy Leaders
Amplifying the environmental sector:
- Welcomed 6 new members to the London Environmental Network: Bluebird Environmental, Goodwill Industries, London Horticultural Society, Middlesex Centre Pollinator Team, Seniors for Climate Action Now! London, and Friends of Medway Creek
- Promoted 114 environmental events on our calendar
Engaging with the community:
- Engaged with 5,243 individuals over 61 outreach, speaking, and events across the community
- Supported more than 20 residents with personalized, residential sustainability advice through our Green Home Consultation Service
