Oxford Children's Water Festival

The Children's Water Festival is a fun and educational event for students in grades 2 through 5 to learn about the importance of water in their daily lives. Runs Tuesday, May 15th to Friday, May 18th.

Teachers from across Oxford, Middlesex, and Elgin Counties including London, St. Thomas, and Woodstock are invited to register their classes to attend one day of this 4-day Festival held in May.  In 2017, over 3,600 grade 2-5 students from across Elgin County and surrounding areas participated.

Maintaining the quality and quantity of our groundwater and surface water is vital for the future development of our communities and for the health and enjoyment of the residents. Educating youth about water and the environment is the perfect way to start doing this.
