Founded in 2014, Sustainable Youth Canada (SYC) is a 100% youth-led, federally registered non-profit organization with mission to unite every high school and university student across Canada through a common passion for sustainability. Since SYC’s founding 2 years ago, we have expanded to serve a network of 500+ members in 6+ affiliated regions across the nation, serving high school and university students across areas like Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, and Waterloo - and now London!
United by a common vision for sustainability and the values of identity and involvement, each region of SYC hosts its own youth-led initiatives, while simultaneously engaging with local partner organizations to quickly connect our diverse members with personalized sustainability-focused opportunities.

- Director for London Ontario
- Outreach and Communication Executive
- VP of Marketing and Media
*We only accept high school students and University applicants - this is not a paid job, but we will give volunteer hours and reference letters*
Key Qualifications:
- A current high school or university student
- A few activities relevant to sustainability and youth empowerment
- A strong leadership role in your community
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
- Possessing a true passion for sustainability
