Project Description:

Urban Roots London is building a native pollinator garden to highlight various native species within the garden through educational signs that will have a QR code for visitors to learn more about native species and native pollinator gardens. They will have an educational workshop component facilitated by Homegrown Society for the community to be involved in the planting of the garden. The garden will have a mulch pathway that leads to a reflection circle within the garden for visitors to use.

They intend to provide an education workshop on native pollinator gardens in partnership with Homegrown Society that will include the planting of the seeds/seedlings and installation of the educational native pollinator garden signs.

Urban Roots London also intends to invite local neighbourhood and resource centres to the educational workshop. The garden will serve as a site for educational farm tours and hands-on volunteer sessions.
