Grow, Cook, Learn proudly presents Oodles of Zoodles, our first Autumn workshop of the year, and what better way to kick off the season than with two hearty & comforting recipes perfect for this sweater weather? We are pleased to announce that this instructional—and fully plant-based—workshop will feature a richly flavoured, buttery-smooth squash soup as a starter. For our entrée, guests will have the opportunity to create a zucchini noodle (zoodle) pasta with a creamy, nutty pesto base.
We openly invite and encourage individuals of all ages, backgrounds, ability, and cooking levels to grow, cook, and learn with us on October 25 (6-7pm) at Reimagine Co. for a hands-on, enjoyable evening bursting with seasonal produce, colours, music—and most importantly—flavours!
In order for the London Community Resource Centre to continue providing locals with exciting and immersive cooking workshops, we kindly ask participants to pay what you can (online) in order to secure a spot in our limited-seating workshop. Please locate our EventBrite link on our Facebook page (@growcooklearnLCRC) to purchase tickets. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
We also kindly ask that you bring your own container to pack any leftover food items. Masks are welcome, as the event is hosted in an indoor space. Please try to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time to get situated; we will begin at 6 pm sharp. Guests are encouraged to sign a photography consent form, as there will be photographs taken for our social media, however, you are not obligated.
We would like to thank Urban Roots for generously supplying freshly harvested, locally-grown produce that will be used in our recipes. We would also like to give a warm thank you to Reimagine Co. for graciously hosting this Grow, Cook, Learn event.
As there will be limited parking in front of the building, guests are encouraged to use the City parking lot between Reimagine Co. & Richmond Row. Free parking is available for 2 hours when you use the promo code “CORE” on the Honk Mobile app.
Any questions can be emailed to [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you on October 25!
