Main Speaker - Luis Patricio, Chair of London Cycle Link

Local Perspectives provided by...
Daniel Hall, Executive Director of London Cycle Link
Doug MacRae, Director, Roads & Transportation - City of London

Luis sees the bicycle as a powerful tool for social change, his main vehicle since 2004. He hasn’t owned a car since 2007. His current burning question is: how to enhance and share urban experiences?

In his presentation Luis will look at the big picture of transportation in time, space and possibilities including examples from different parts of the world and some connections to Agenda2030 - the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals

Luis is the Board Chair of London Cycle Link - an organization that is dedicated to making the City of London a place where citizens can easily choose cycling as their preferred mode of daily transportation. He also works at the London Poverty Research Centre exploring possibilities for an inclusive economy, and holds a Masters in Urban Planning.

Following Luis' presentation hear local perspectives from Daniel Hall and Doug MacRae...

Driving our cars and SUVs makes up 55% of Londoners total greenhouse gas emissions. If we’re interested in reducing our carbon footprint, we have to drive less. But it’s not always easy to make the sustainable transportation choice in London - find out why it’s difficult and what we can do to change that. - Daniel Hall

Doug MacRae's presentation will focus on "Rolling Ahead with Sustainable Mobility"
